Bangalore: Five low-intensity blasts rocked Bangalore on Friday afternoon killing one woman and injuring nine people, initial reports said.
The first blast took place near Madiwala checkpost at around 1330 hrs IST with Additional Commissioner of Police, Bangalore, Gopal Hosur, confirming that a timer device was used to trigger the blasts.
All the blasts took place with 15 minutes of each other.
1st blast: 1.20 pm, Madiwala bus depot
2nd blast: 1.25 pm, Mysore road
3rd blast: 1.40 pm, Adugudi
4th blast: 2.10 pm, Koramangla
5th blast: 2.25 pm, Vittal Mallaya road
6th blast: 2.35 pm, Langford Town
7th blast: Richmond Town
Bangalore , July 25 (ANI): At least three people were killed and 20 injured in seven serial blasts that hit Bangalore city this afternoon.
Bangalore Police commissioner, Shanker Bidri confirmed seven blasts that rocked the Bangalore city and said that the low intensity crude bombs were triggered by a timer.
Bomb disposal squads have reached the blasts sites.
Schools, colleges, cinema halls and commercial complexes have been shut down.
High alert has been sounded to metros and State capitals.
