Shery Ghoshal Biography

Shreya Ghosal (also spelled Ghoshal) is an Indian playback singer in the Bollywood film industry. Of Bengali origin, Ghosal grew up in the remote southern corner of Rajasthan, in the small township of Rawatbhata near the city of Kota.Her father works in Bhabha Atomic Research Center as an Engineer in the nuclear power plant by the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd(BARC) and mother is a postgraduate in literature.

BARC was started in 1957, as the Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET), and became India's primary nuclear research centre, taking over charge of most nuclear scientists that were at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, After Homi J. Bhabha's death in 1966, the centre was renamed as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
