Greater Hyderabad Muncipal Corporation (GHMC) elections have been held for 150 muncipal wards. These 150 elected corporators will choose the mayor and deputy mayor. The counting of Votes of GHMC election started today,26th November at 8.00 am. Congress party (52) is the winner with a narrow margin in a closely contested election with TDP (45) and MIM (43). BJP was able to win only in 5 seats and Chiru’s PRP was able to secure a single seat.
