Microsoft has announced that it saw a 58 per cent increase in unique members purchasing titles on Xbox Live Arcade during its five-week Summer of Arcade program.

The period saw a number of high profile titles released on the downloadable service, including Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2, Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Braid. Microsoft further announced that August broke the monthly revenue high by 67 per cent.

Mehrauli Bomb Blast

Six people were killed and 15 injured in a blast in Mehrauli market in New Delhi [Images] on Saturday. the blast took place at 2.15 pm. According to reports, two men in a motorbike placed a tiffin box outside an electronic shop in the area.Fire engines and ambulances have rushed to the spot. The shops in the locality have been shut down.

While the Delhi police refuses to confirm the number of dead or injured victims, those who live in Ward No. 8 at Mehrauli claimed that at least six persons were killed in the blast.

According to eye-witnesses, two men riding on a motorcycle dropped a black polythene bag in the market area and left. The bag exploded within minutes, killing three people on the spot while three more succumbed to their injuries later. Six injured victims are reportedly in a critical condition.

Delhi has been put on high alert. The injured have been taken to AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital.

The first real Democratic presidential debate in weeks and what do the American people get? Barack Obama can't answer a direct question about pastor Jeremiah Wright and Hillary Clinton can't give a believable answer about sniper fire and Bosnia.

Sure, the questions from ABC's commentators were designed to put the candidates off-balance. Nothing wrong with that. I enjoyed seeing both squirm a bit as they tried to deflect attacks against their credibility.

Yet, at about the 60-minute mark, neither candidate had done much to resolve the policy differences between them. Yes, I know, that's because there truly are few of those differences.

Still, I'm betting the audience was hopeful one of the candidates could clearly explain (rather than just pander) how he or she was going to attack a major problem facing the American people, like health care costs, inflation, the housing crisis, the credit crisis, and so on.

Many Democratic voters have made up their minds by now on either Obama or Clinton. But others haven't.

Wednesday night's debate failed in showing whether one candidate was better than the other in terms of getting things done for the American people.

Honda has finally launched the brand new edition of City in the Indian market.

Like all their recent launches, this new edition looks smashing hot.

The company is hoping to increase the sales of the City with this brand new model which now joins the recently updated Honda Accord.

This new City is essentially the third generation model from Honda in India.

Honda City is now priced between Rs 7.7 lakh and Rs 8.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The company said that the car would be available in both manual and automatic transmission models.

The new Honda City model comes powered with a 1.5 liter i-VTEC engine.

Honda India also sells other models including Honda Civic and Honda CRV. They also sell the hybrid edition of Civic in the Indian market. Although Honda dominates the motorcycle market in India, the Japanese company doesn’t offer any models in India’s small-auto segment, which makes up the vast majority of car sales.


Honda India Growth

The company had a growth of 14% for the fiscal year of 2005-06 when compared to 2004-05, with total sales of 42,727 units in the domestic market. And they are aiming for a proposed growth of around 44% for the current fiscal year. So considering the fact that they have invested more than Rs 800 crores till now in India their growth result has been excellent.

Gradiano Noida CEO Beaten To Death By Dissmissed,

CEO beaten to death in Noida


The Chief Executive Officer of a company was on Monday beaten to death by a group of dismissed employees inside office premises after a meeting, called to resolve dispute between them and management, failed.

L K Chaudhury, the CEO of Gradiano in Udyog Vihar of Greater Noida, was killed when the agitating workers turned violent and beat him up, Senior Superintendent of Police (Noida) R K Chaturvedi said.

As the clash erupted, Chaturvedi said, a security guard opened fire in air.

About 20 people were injured in the clashes.

Chaudhury was rushed to Kailash hospital where he was declared brought dead. There were about 200 former employees inside the premises when the incident took place.

The assailants had been dismissed two months back for some reasons. They were protesting against their dismissal since then.

The film “Saas Bahu Aur Sensex” is like any of the Saas Bahu television show having actors Kirron Kher and Farooq Shaikh in lead roles but its advantage is that it finishes in three hours.The film tries to depict how homemakers and ladies going to kitties start spending in share markets and these housewives even watch business channels , read business magazines to excel in the money investment fields.

The film “Saas Bahu Aur Sensex” has a theme that every housewife who is elderly or young, should be financially independent and be prepared to face financial crunches, in case some thing very unpredictable happens like if they are ditched by their husbands in later ages.

The story of the film is about Binita Sen who is divorced and she shifts to a new area in Mumbai. She is in her later ages and has a college going daughter but she has no money to sustain her living style and her daughter starts going to call centre to earn money and Binita tries her hands in stock markets to get some financial support.

Binita is helped by a broker Sethna and her daughter gets helped in her job at a call centre by her neighbor Ritesh Jethmalani who loves his neighboring girl Kirti but Kirti is a girl who runs after money and in case she has nobody to marry ,she will marry Riteish.

The plot is that Binita tells her kitti party friends that she is investing money in stocks and all the ladies of her building start doing the same. After a few twists and turns it is found that if Kirti marries Riteish, it will be beneficial for the investing ladies and this part of the plot is very unreal.

The basic problem in the film is that the incidents appear artificial and even impossible and you don’t have comedy or drama or anything that catches you well or attract you to watch the movie with interest for long. It looks to be one of the weird tales that is shown in most of the Ekta Kapoor’s show.

The two actors Kiron Kher and Farroq Shekh are the attraction of the film but they are not all in the film and the director Shona Urvashi is not confident of what she has been trying to show. The movie may not get a good response because it is an illusory movie.
